Moving to France from abroad?

Moverz lists movers for moves between two addresses in France. For the international leg (from the UK, the US, Australia or anywhere else), you need an international removal company. Once you live here, compare movers for your next move with us.

What we check

A score for every mover, and the reasons behind it.

Moverz does not certify movers. We score them from public data and show you the result, so you compare on more than price.

  • The Moverz Score, out of 100

    Financial strength, legal status, Google rating, reputation over 12 months and customer red flags, from company registers, published accounts, insolvency notices and reviews. The method is published (in French).

  • More than 75 to be listed

    Only eligible movers are shown: a sound company (not closed, not insolvent) with a Moverz Score of more than 75/100. Those at 85 or more reach the Excellent level of the Label Moverz.

  • Commitments in writing

    Every mover who takes a booking through Moverz has signed our terms: operate legally, be insured, be entitled to carry out the move.

  • Reviews you can read

    Google rating and review count on each line of the list. Sort by reviews if that matters more to you than price.

The price

Priced on your move. Firm price.

  • Every mover prices the same move

    Your addresses, home, floors, lift and date, described once. Each mover's price is calculated from its own parameters or, failing that, Moverz's grid for its category, so the prices in the list are comparable.

  • Firm price

    The price shown is the price you pay. You describe your home, we calculate the volume. If our calculation is wrong, that is on us: your price does not change.

  • Your mover calls you within 48 hours

    Your date is booked as soon as you pay. Your mover calls you within 48 hours, usually the same day, to introduce themselves and go over your move with you.

Questions people ask

What is Moverz?

A moving marketplace for France. You describe your move once, see up to 10 movers with their firm prices and Google reviews, choose one and book online. No sales calls, no forms to send to ten companies.

Is Moverz free?

Yes. Moverz charges you no service fee: the price shown covers the move.

How are the movers in the list chosen?

Each one is a sound company with a Moverz Score of more than 75/100, calculated from public data (company registers, accounts, insolvency notices, Google reviews). Moverz does not certify movers; the scoring method is published.

What if the mover I chose cannot do my move?

Moverz makes its best efforts to offer you a mover with an equal or higher Moverz Score, on the same date, at no extra cost; if no solution is found within 48 hours, you are refunded in full.

How does payment work?

You pay a booking deposit of 15% of the price online when you book. It is shown before you pay and deducted from the price. Moverz keeps your deposit until moving day; the balance is paid to the mover on the day.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Up to 14 days to cancel free of charge, without giving a reason. Your deposit is refunded in full; the refund is issued within 48 hours.

Can I talk to someone in English?

Can Moverz move me to France from another country?

Not yet. Both addresses must be in France. For an international move, book an international removal company; once you live in France, compare movers for your next move with Moverz.

Will the movers speak English?

We cannot promise it: some crews do, many do not. What you booked (addresses, home, access, service level, price) is in writing before the day, so nothing depends on a conversation on the doorstep.
